A dad has sent a heartbreaking birthday message to his daughter who was murdered with her sister by her sex worker mum.
Louise Porton, 23, was sentenced to life in prison last month for killing Lexi Draper, three, and 16-month-old Scarlett Vaughan.
She strangled the tots to death because they got in the way of her life as a prostitute and she wanted to be able to do whatever she wanted.
Chris Draper, who was taunted by Porton over whether he was the children’s father, has now paid tribute to Scarlett on what would have been her third birthday.
According to The Sun , he said: “Happy birthday ANGEL daddy will come see you later daddy’s big girl I miss you so much wish you was here with your family celebrating it with all your cousins, aunties and most of all your sister.
“I hope you have a big party up there and know this daddy is watching out for you and we all miss you so much hope this reaches you my chunky monkey love you forever your daddy (sic).”
The father posted the message on social media alongside a picture of Scarlett smiling.
He added that Lexi would protect her little sister and stay by her side ‘forever’.
Mr Draper was finally allowed to bury the pair last week after Lexi was killed in January 2018, followed by Scarlett two weeks later.
Their small white coffins were transported to their funeral in a horse-drawn carriage.
Mr Draper previously wrote on Facebook : “My girls am home now. Today your family lay u to rest even though you shouldn’t be there but your daddy babies (sic).
“Sent you away in style and the whole of Walsall and Bloxwhich knows who you are and to some people you are loved and babies, nobody will ever take that from especially from me my family and new friends.
“Gave you the send of you deserved, all eyes on you and you’ll be missed but never forgotten (sic).
“Sleep tight babies, daddy got you, DADDY WILL ALWAYS HAVE YOUR BACK, sleep tight love your daddy (sic).”
