Romelu Lukaku smashed in four goals in his first game for Inter Milan on Sunday after a £74 million switch from Manchester United.
The Belgian striker scored half of Inter’s goals in an 8-0 friendly drubbing of Serie D side Virtus Bergamo.
Lukaku sat out of Inter’s win over Valencia on Saturday and was joined for the Sunday friendly by others who missed that game or barely featured.
Matias Vecino scored two while 17-year-old Sebastiano Esposito also bagged a double in the 8-0 romp on Sunday.
Antonio Conte’s Inter begin their Serie A campaign against Lecce on August 26.
Romelu Lukaku arrived at Inter Milan on Thursday and completed a £74m move from Manchester United
Lukaku completed his move to Italy from Manchester United on Thursday after a summer of uncertainly regarding his future.
He revealed last season that Serie A is a league he’s always wanted to play in, and his wish was granted on transfer deadline day.
“When I left Chelsea I had the opportunity to go to Juventus,” Lukaku said in April.
“I don’t know why, but I didn’t feel it. Something didn’t convince me. The next day, Conte left Juventus.
“Serie A is a dream, it would really be a dream. I hope I can play there at some point, although right now I’m focused on United and finishing fourth.”
He added: “It was the UEFA Cup Final between Inter and Lazio [in 1998].
“When I saw how Ronaldo rounded the goalkeeper I realised that if I wanted to become a professional, I would have to train very hard.”
