He has the looks, the flowing locks and the charm of perfect gentleman – but some Love Island fans are not convinced dancer Curtis Pritchard is all he’s cracked up to be.
The 23-year-old lothario, who is coupled up with sugary air hostess Amy Hart, has won viewers over with his heady mix of alluring prose, chivalric advice and dashing fairy tale presence.
But some viewers claim Curtis is not displaying his true nature – with other branding his perfection “creepy.”
Like the majority of the Islanders, Curtis, who starred on the Irish version of Strictly, has a celebrity agent and has most probably had a form of media training.
Fans also point out as his brother, AJ, is famous – the reality star would have an idea how to behave in front of the cameras.
One viewer seethed: “Am I the only person who finds Curtis a bit of a creep? He feels fake and like he’s always performing.”
Another added: “This series of Love Island is dreadful. These contestants are dreadful. Nothing has happened this episode apart from this fake Love Triangle and Curtis playing agony aunt.
While one sighed: “Anyone else think that Curtis is so annoying ? #Fake.”
Although it appears the agony aunt / James Bond / Prince Charming persona is winning over the majority of the public.
Strictly star Neil Jones, who was plunged into the headlines after his wife snogged dance partner Seann Walsh in the street, took to Twitter to enthuse: “Wow even I want to couple up with Curtis!”
Another added: “Curtis is the the cutest sh*t i’ve ever seen, reassuring amy and making molly-mae feel welcomed and comfortable in the villa while hyping his boys up #loveisland.”
A spokesman for Curtis was unavailable for comment.
